John Tenore has more than twenty years of strategic market research experience. At Gartner, he provided clients with research and intelligence in the areas of telecommunications and internet infrastructure; product development; customer care; and content management. John led market research and analyst relations for Akamai Technologies from its pre-IPO stage through its dominance in the CDN market.
Following Akamai, John developed a joint AR/Competitive Intelligence program for MatrixOne/Dassault. This program was critical to MatrixOne gaining a foothold in new markets, such as the medical device and electronics industries. John's unique ability to blend market intelligence with actionable recommendations helps his clients to bridge the gap that frequently exists between Marketing and Sales. John has provided marketing expertise to a wide number of technology companies in recent years, including AT&T, EMC, IBM, Novell, OpenText, Red Hat, and Telisimo. He received his MBA from Georgetown University and speaks several languages, including English, French, Bahasa Indonesia, and Bahasa Melayu.
