Lynn Russo Whylly has spent most of her career as a business writer and research analyst uncovering technology trends and reporting on issues in direct marketing, customer data analytics, and customer relationship management, as well as in environmentally sustainable marketing. She previously served as executive editor of publications for global consulting firm Peppers and Rogers Group.
Since 1995, she has been at the forefront of trends in Web 1.0, Web 2.0 and now Web 3.0 – the rise of social media and mobile marketing. Prior to running her own consulting business, with clients that include major marketing agencies and technology solution providers, Whylly was executive editor of publications for global consulting firm Peppers and Rogers Group, where she managed 1to1 Magazine, INSIDE 1to1 and INSIDE 1to1 Privacy and produced the 1to1 Innovator Awards. Her research has appeared in 1to1 Magazine, Catalog Age, Customer Support Management, DIRECT, OMMA, PROMO, M10 Leadership Review and Media and numerous other major trade publications.
